Boba Fett Coin

Ginally back from the trip and had a great time. I was able to find a coin to add to my coin set. This one makes number 60 of 62, so I’m almost there on the set. The coin is for Boba Fett which is fitting with Celebration V honoring The Empire Strikes Back.

Collector Panel Cereal Boxes

This year at each of the collector panels a Star Wars themed mini cereal box was handed out at the end. Each day I attended 3 of the 4 panels, so we almost had a complete set. Just before the last panel began we traded a few of our doubles and got to the point of just needing one box. Luckily Sarah found someone, so we were able to complete the set.

Room sale

One event that many collectors look forward too are the room sales. They’ve gotten so big that the haven’t taken place in actual rooms the last two conventions. Basically collectors bring a bunch of stuff to sell at the convention and then a night or two these sales go on at one of the main hotels. This is the only picture I managed to take as I wanted to make sure i didn’t miss anything cool. There was a lot of stuff that I would have liked, but I only picked up one item. It was an Australian Luke Jedi card back to go with my focus. I feel that I got a pretty fair price for a card that doesn’t come up for sale very often.

Celebration V Badges

Today our badges finally arrived for celebration V. I can’t believe that it is now almost a week away. I’m really looking forward to the event and hope to blog live from the convention center in Orlando. I’m using the blogpress software right now on my iPad as a trial, so hopefully this post works.
